Lori Quick, M.A. Theology, RYT 500 (500-hr Certified Yoga Instructor), Administrative Assistant

Lori is a Third Culture Kid (TCK) who grew up on 3 continents and was trilingual at a young age. She loves to travel and learn from other cultures. She has also lived across the USA, in Texas and Illinois, but loves being a California girl.  Lori has been practicing yoga since 2014 and teaching yoga since 2017, completing her most recent training in 8-Limbed Trauma-Informed Yoga in 2021. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Azusa Pacific and just earned her Masters Degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary, in Pasadena 2022 and is interested in Ethical Spirituality, the Arts, Wellness, and JEDI. She enjoys writing songs in her spare time and is a proud Auntie of two kiddos. One fun fact is that she walked 100 miles across Ireland in July 2022.  She makes time for herself by meditating, enjoying nature, making art and music. She also loves to bake and is determined to master croissants one day. She enjoys greeting the kids and families at AHPT everyday!

Danielle Navarro, OTR/L was born and raised in LA County. She has a bachelors degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Health and Wellness from Cal State Monterey Bay and graduated with her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has been working with the pediatric community since 2011. She has worked as an instructional aide for the East Whittier School District and as an ABA therapist before earning her license in Occupational Therapy. Her goal is to provide children with the best care and resources they need to succeed. Outside of the clinic Danielle enjoys being at the beach, making yummy food for her friends and family, watching baseball, and trying new places.


  1. Meet the Pediatric Team

Emily Frevert, PT, Director, a native Texan, stated hopped the south before moving to California in 2008 and founded Anaheim Hills Pediatric Therapy, Inc. in 2016. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has lived in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia where her oldest daughter and triplets, one daughter and two sons, were all born. She has practiced in pediatric physical therapy for over 20 years in clinic, home, aquatic and hippotherapy settings. She has entwined her passion for understanding and developing the greatest potential for children with sensory, attention, behavior, strength, and coordination challenges into also homeschooling her children through Classical Conversations, kindergarten through high school. Having two children with high functioning autism and another with dyslexia and dysgraphia has given Emily enormous amounts of hours of experience as a parent of children with special needs that she brings to our practice.

Jada Helberg, PTAwas born and raised in Riverside County. She has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercises science from California State University Bakersfield and participated in collegiate water polo, then graduated from Stanbridge University with her Associates degree in Physical therapy. She found her passion for working with children while being a swim and water polo instructor for 8 years. She enjoyed watching the growth of her athletes in and out of the pool. In her free time she enjoys taking road trips, going to the beach and trying new restaurants.

Kourtney Kingsmore, PT, DPT, was born and raised in Simi Valley, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Chapman University and Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University. She has experience treating children in the Pediatric setting ranging from infants to young adults with a vast range of neurological conditions. She loves working with kids as they bring her so much joy. She aspires to provide the best quality of care utilizing evidence-based practice and spending quality time providing parent and family education to equip the children and their loved ones with the tools and knowledge they need to be successful. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancée and her family, exercising, hiking, and taking trips to the mountains.

Brianna Betschel, COTA/L was born and raised in Anaheim Hills. She has a Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Ohio State University and graduated from St. Catherine University with her associate's degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has always wanted to work in the therapy field initially going to undergrad for PT until she discovered Occupational Therapy and found that it was the perfect fit for her life goals. She has always had a passion for working with kids. She loves working with children of all ages and backgrounds and getting to see how children view the world and their environment around them. Their ability to learn and grow is the most rewarding experience she could ever ask for. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach in the summer or the mountains in the winter.

April Purdy, PT, DPT​, is from San Diego, CA. She graduated with honors from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences Physical Therapy program with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. She received her bachelor degree in Human Development, with minors in Biology and Chemistry, from the University of California San Diego. She has experience in all aspects of pediatric therapy which include outpatient rehabilitation, school-based therapies, in home therapies, and neonatal physical therapy. Her personal goal is to provide the highest standard of care using evidence-based practice, in order to provide every child and family with the tools they need to succeed. In her free time, she enjoys baking, crafting, trying new restaurants and breweries, hiking, and hanging out with her husband and their adorable dog Pippen.

Aaron Puertollano, PT, DPT​, was born in San Diego, CA and raised in Murrieta, CA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCLA and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. He has experience treating children from infants to young adults with a broad range of neurological conditions. He enjoys training and mentoring physical therapy students on evidence-based practice and theory in the pediatric setting. He has a strong fascination with the brain as it relates to neurology and behavior and its application to patient intervention and communication. He has a strong passion for sports and his favorite teams are the Lakers, Dodgers, and Chargers. Outside of the clinic he enjoys playing basketball, videogames and working on projects in photography, videography, and graphic design.

Bethany Tomokiyo, OTR/L was born and raised in LA county, CA. She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with double Bachelor of Art degrees in Child Development Family Studies and Family Life Education, then graduated from West Coast University with her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Working with children and their families has always been a passion for her. She always strives to provide client and family centered care with the most updated evidence based interventions. Bethany loves the Dodgers and the Lakers, going on hikes, playing piano for church, and spending time with her husband. 

Katie Spaberg, COTA, BA, was born and raised in Orange County, CA. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Child and Adolescence then graduated from Stanbridge University with her Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Katie has experience treating children from infants to young adults with a variety of diagnosis. She has background training in lactation, ABA behavioral therapy, sensory integration, oral motor and feeding. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, camping, baking and crafting.

Reiczel Bael, COTA/L is from San Diego County. She received her associate's degree from American Career College, and is currently undergoing a bridge program to receive her masters to become an occupational therapist. She has experience in early intervention therapies, school-setting therapies, in-home therapies, and outpatient rehabilitation with special interests in feeding and improving oral-motor skills. Reiczel aims to encourage holistic, well-rounded therapies to children, families, and their caretakers by having continuing conversation about how to help. When she's outside of the clinic, she absolutely loves going to Disneyland, listening to podcasts, boba, watching reality tv shows, spending time with her family and friends, and her golden doodles. 

Sharon Sin, OTR/L was raised in Orange County, CA. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Art degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy. She has experience providing occupational therapy services to children of various backgrounds within the home, clinic, and school setting. Her goal is to provide holistic, family-centered care to children and their families to help them meet their needs and goals. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks, kickboxing, watching baking shows, trying new foods, and spending time with friends, her husband, and their tortoiseshell cat, Hazel.

Jolina Manchester, OTR/L, was born and raised in Orange County and has practiced as an occupational therapist in Orange County since 2014. She has worked with infants to young adults in clinical settings providing individual therapy. Jolina has expertise working with children with sensory based feeding aversions as well as vestibular dysfunction. Jolina has certifications in Astronaut Training, a sound activated vestibular-visual protocol, as well as Therapeutic Listening, an auditory program to decrease auditory defensiveness and increase sensory integration. Jolina received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy from Vanguard University. Jolina believes strongly in a holistic approach to therapy and working alongside families in order to find the best solutions to meet their needs. Jolina lives in Corona with her husband, 2 daughters and son. Jolina loves to bake and be outdoors, especially at the beach. Her family enjoys roller blading along the board walk and spending time at the pool.
