BUG Buddies Developmental Social Groups

We offer a group program called BUG BUDDIES (Building an Understanding of Growing) divided into three classes. These classes focus on developmental aspects of growing; specifically, fine motor, gross motor, cognition, communication, social-emotional and self-care skills in a structured environment. The Caterpillars are our group of children not walking yet.  Caterpillars are a three hour class on Mondays, 9-12.  The Butterflies are children safely walking independently and under 3 years old. Butterflies are a three hour class on Tuesdays 9-12. The Grasshoppers are our group of children older than 3 years old and divided into a morning and an afternoon class. The Grasshopper class meets two days a week, three hours each. Classes are Wed/Fri 9-12 or Tues/Thurs 2:30-5:30. Check out our you tube video below!

The classes also focus on emotional regulation through using the zones of regulation program.  Children do not need to be potty-trained to attend any of the classes. Class ratios vary from 1:1-1:3 child to teachers/therapists. All classes are lead by a teacher, a physical therapist and an occupational therapist, as well as graduate students working on clinical internships to complete their OT, PT, PTA, or OTA degree fulfillment.
